Yes. An object type is Capacities’ closest equivalent to a database for one kind of thing.

Each type (for example Person, Meeting, or Task) holds many objects that share the same properties. Open the type in the sidebar to review them together in a database-style view: filter, sort, and switch layouts the way you would in a table of records.

That is different from a collection, which is a hand-picked subgroup inside one type.
