To turn text or blocks into a new object in Capacities:

Select the block(s) you want to convert

Click "Turn into" and choose the desired object type

The selected text becomes the title of the new object

Any indented child blocks are added as content in the new object

This allows you to quickly create new objects like Zettels, projects, tasks, etc. directly from your notes. The original text is replaced with a link to the newly created object.

Please note that tags, PDFs and images cannot be turned into a different object type.
